What is MINECOIN?

Minecoin is a digital currency used to purchase content for your account in the Minecraft Marketplace.

Can I get a refund after purchasing MINECOINS?
Minecoins are non-refundable once purchased. Minors should make purchases under parental supervision. For further questions, please contact Microsoft Support.

Do I need a Microsoft account to purchase MINECOINS?
You need a Microsoft account to purchase Minecoins on Minecraft.net or through the Marketplace in any version of Minecraft: Bedrock Edition.

If you play on a console and log in with your device account, you can link it to a Microsoft account. This allows you to use Minecoins and non-exclusive purchases across different devices running Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. For more information, see Linking a Microsoft Account | Minecraft Help

How do I use MINECOINS?
After purchasing Minecoins, log in to Minecraft: Bedrock Edition with the same account used to purchase them. You can then use Minecoins in the Minecraft Marketplace.

When purchasing Minecoins on Minecraft.net, you may see items you want to buy. Click the Get Item button. If Minecraft is installed on the same device, the game will open directly to the Marketplace page, where you can complete the purchase.

Why don’t I see my MINECOINS in the Marketplace?
If you purchase Minecoins on Minecraft.net while Minecraft is running, you may need to log out of Minecraft and restart the game for the new balance to appear in the Marketplace.
